Gus is the Head of Investor Relations for the UK Government, based in the Department for Business and Trade. He leads a team of Investor Relations professionals working across the UK and in British Embassies around the world to cultivate and steward long-term relationships with large financial investors. These include Sovereign Wealth Funds, global Pension Funds, Asset Managers, Private Equity Funds, Venture Capital Funds, and large Corporates.
Gus has over a decade’s experience as a diplomat, working internationally in Latin America and Africa, including a role as First Secretary Commercial in Nairobi 2017-2019.
Outside of work he has been a school governor and is currently a member of the Safer Neighbourhoods Committee for Wandsworth.
Gus trained as an Economist and is currently training towards an Mst Real Estate at University of Cambridge.
