Caroline is the founder and former Chief Executive of Creative UK and a champion for investing in the UK’s world class creative industries.
Aardman is one of the world’s best-loved and respected animation studios, with an enviable reputation for telling funny, relatable character-led stories, through creative mastery and a unique independent spirit. Home to Wallace and Gromit and Shaun the Sheep, Aardman has won four Academy Awards, eighteen BAFTAs and five Guiness Records. With a global box office of $227,794m Aardman still holds the record for the highest-grossing stop-motion animated film of all time.
A speaker and commentator on the creative industries in the UK, Caroline is a member of BAFTA and was awarded an OBE for her service to the Creative Industries.
Caroline champions the creative industries by investing in and supporting creative ideas, talent and businesses; harnessing the power of the creative sector to build a fairer, more prosperous world. She continues to sit as a NED on Creative UK’s Investment Company, one of the country’s leading specialist investors in early-stage high growth creative companies.
