Macquarie AM talks about driving energy transition

With a market capitalisation of more than $2 trillion, the global listed infrastructure asset class provides access to publicly traded companies that own or operate essential infrastructure such as renewable energy generation, electricity networks, airports, and toll roads. A global pandemic, multi-billion-dollar infrastructure investment plans, rising inflation, green stimulus, and a focus on decarbonisation have contributed to the exponentially rising demand for infrastructure investments. Many investors associate infrastructure investing with privately owned assets, but opportunities among listed companies offer a compelling opportunity as well.
