Biodiversity on the Brink

The late Sir Roger Gifford, former Lord Mayor of the City of London, two-time speaker at RAO Global events and Chair of the independent taskforce tasked by Government with accelerating the growth of green finance and the UK’s low carbon economy. He has many ideas about how this should be done and spoke passionately about the urgent need for the transformation to happen immediately.

One of his major concerns was bio-diversity, which he championed tirelessly to the global financial community with the intent to focus their minds and galvanise their investment strategies. So he would no doubt welcome this report from Asset Manager Mercer who say that biodiversity loss is estimated to be 100 to 1,000 times than the naturally occurring extinction rate and have produce this report:
