Communications Specialist
David serves as Communications Specialist with the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF), the UN Catalytic Finance Entity for the World’s 46 Least Developed Countries.
He oversees communications at the organizational level as well as at the practice and programmatic level spanning the organizations five areas of development finance: inclusive digital economies, local transformative finance, climate/energy/biodiversity finance, women’s economic empowerment and sustainable food systems finance.
David previously served in the Obama Administration as Senior Advisor and Chief Speechwriter in the International Trade Administration of the U.S. Department of Commerce, where he supported the administration’s trade policy agenda, notably in support of the small and medium sized enterprise community in the country.
He has also worked for the Council on Foreign Relations as Deputy Director of Global Communications as well as a newspaper and television writer.
David is a graduate of New York University School of Law, American University Washington College of Law and Rutgers College.
