Former CIO and Deputy CEO of the Korea Investment Corporation (KIC)
Scott served as CIO and Deputy CEO of the Korea Investment Corporation (KIC), Korea’s US$200 billion Sovereign Wealth Fund, during 2008-2012, growing AUM from US$19 billion to US$60 billion during his tenure.
He is the Founder and Director of the Responsible Asset Allocator Initiative at New America, helping the world’s largest institutions invest responsibly and sustainably.
The RAAI publishes the RAAI Index and Leaders List, rating and ranking the world’s 250 largest asset allocators on their responsible investing practices.
Scott is co-founder and Chairman of Bright Feeds, a firm using unique, patented technology to convert unwanted and wasted food into nutritious animal feed. He also is CEO of KLTI Advisors (a registered Representative of Bridge Capital Associates, Inc) and Chairman of the Sovereign Investor Institute at Institutional Investor.
Earlier in his career, Scott worked at Balyasny, Black Arrow Capital, Tudor, and Citigroup. He is an elected member of the town of Greenwich Representative Town Meeting (RTM), representing District 7. Scott received an MA degree from Harvard University and a BA with Honors from Oberlin College.
