Joan is a Director on the Institutional Relationship Management Team. In this role, she works closely with asset allocators to provide insights and analysis on all aspects of the gold market, including the role gold can play in a portfolio. Prior to joining World Gold Council, Joan spent nine years at International Value Advisers, managing global institutional client relationships as well as leading marketing and communications strategies. Previously, she held institutional marketing and sales positions at First Eagle Investment Management, Brown Brothers Harriman and Bear Stearns.
A graduate of Franklin and Marshall College with a BA in Biology and Psychology, Joan is also a CFA charter holder.
