Harald is an advisor on ESG and impact investing. As Head of ESG at Aegon Asset Management (2009-2019), at Natixis Investment Managers (2019-2021), and currently through his own advisory firm Finding Ways Ahead he has gained significant experience working on ESG issues with all types of asset management firms.

He is known for a pragmatic, evidence-based and investment-driven approach and is affiliated with several think-tanks and academic institutions. Harald has a background in corporate law, corporate strategy and M&A.

Harald has an MBA (Chicago Booth) and a law degree (Leiden University). His frequent posts that are humorous yet fact-based and informative are enjoyed by a significant and growing number of followers on LinkedIn. In what little time remains, Harald is also an active jazz pianist.
