As Head of Investor Engagement for Stwrd, Mason helps investors use Stwrd to enhance their stewardship capabilities and maximize stewardship resources.
Prior to joining Stwrd, Mason spent more than 16 years in institutional finance and has been involved with ESG, sustainable investing, and stewardship since 2008. Most recently, he spent more than 12 years at MFS Investment Management.
As a member of the Sustainability Strategy team at MFS, Mason was a deeply involved in developing MFS’ sustainable investment program and communicating ESG philosophy, strategy and capabilities to institutional investors, industry bodies, and other stakeholders.
He also has extensive experience working with sustainability focused industry coalitions and collective engagement initiatives to support the adoption and promotion of sustainability practices across a wide variety of industries.
