Oliver specialises in the structuring and establishment of private investment funds across a range of asset classes.
He advises fund sponsors on all aspects of the fund structuring and raising process.
He advises regularly on blind-pool multi-investor funds, consortium vehicles and separate managed accounts, including related regulatory aspects.
Oliver also advises large pension funds, institutional asset managers and high net-worth individuals on their investment into investment funds. He has been pivotal in developing SmartInvest, Pinsent Masons’ in-house fund investing platform, which allows managers and investors to take a data-driven approach to fund terms.
Oliver has a particular interest in sustainability and impact investing, advising clients on these matters and speaking at conferences.
