Claire is the Investor Director at ASCOR where she bridges the gap between academic research and analysis in evaluating sovereign climate progress and institutional investment applicability and engagement processes.
Claire is a seasoned sovereign analyst and a leading voice in responsible investment across both emerging and developed markets. With over two and a half decades of experience, Claire has held roles at institutions such as the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) and the Emerging Markets Investors Alliance (EMIA), and was a sovereign debt research analyst at Northern Trust Asset Management and Allstate Investment Group.
Most recently, Claire served as Interim Head of Investment Managers at PRI, where she led a global group of over 100 investment managers in identifying and addressing sustainable market barriers. At EMIA, she was instrumental in building strategic partnerships and expanding membership, helping bridge the gap between sustainability and investment decisions.
She holds a Master’s in International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, a Bachelor’s degree from Smith College and is a Fulbright Scholar.
